Zion Lutheran Church
We’re a congregation of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod.
God designed all of us to be part of a community. Whether our family is big or small, or even just us, we need a place to belong. God invites us to be a member of His family: the Church.
God is all about relationships. He sent His one and only Son, Jesus Christ, to eliminate our fears, overcome our failures, and bring us into a relationship with Him and all who trust in Jesus.
Zion is not merely a place we attend but a place we gather to honor Jesus and serve others. The Bible calls us members of His body (I Corinthians 12:12-31) with the expectation that each of us does the part for which God designed us. Together, we are His Church, proclaiming His Word, celebrating His sacraments, and supporting each other for the glory of God and the good of His people.

“When should I arrive?”
— Our services start on time, so arrive early if you need a moment to find a seat or get comfortable.
“What do I wear?”
— This is God’s house, so dress with respect for God and others.
“What is your weekly schedule?”
— Worship services, study, groups, and special events are posted on this website. We strive to keep it current.
“What is your service like?”
— Services focus on Jesus Christ as we say back to God what He’s first said to us. Saturday, 5 p.m., and Sunday, 8 a.m., worship follow one of the Divine Services based on ancient Christian worship adapted for today’s people. Singing is accompanied by piano or organ. Sunday, 10:45 a.m., worship is led by a band. All services include Jesus’ priority of forgiving the sins of those who repent.
“What do you have for children and students?”
— We welcome children! Grab a children’s packet as you enter worship. It has things to engage your child. During the school year, we offer a program at 9:30 a.m. for children ages 3 through 6th grade.

“What if I am nervous about coming to church?”
— Relax! You will be in the company of others who may share your feelings. No one will put you on the spot but someone will likely greet you. If you have questions, just ask.
